Hello everyone, we would like to think everyone who voted this month and participated in our event for getting our quota of votes this month! Also we would like to thank everyone for voting on our poll about what they want to see here. As you can see we have a lot more events now and we will continue to improve L2 Equanimity. We have/will do everything on that poll in due time. Now its time for the updates we had this last month.![]() HIGHLIGHTS: NEW DEATH MATCH AND RABBIT CHEST EVENT THIS MONTH - Updated .jointvt command to take into consideration IP restrictions - Updated DM (Death Match) Event to take into consideration IP restrictions. - Updated DM npc/command to show how many players are currently registered for the event. - Optimized/ Cleaned up the DM engines code. - Fixed the DM spawn room finally to how its supposed to be, a peace zone. - Fixed the DM GKs they werent allowing people to port after I recoded them before I left. thx kiryu for reporting. - sorry everyone, Balls will be gone for a few days for the Thanksgiving Holiday, and will be back on Saturday at the latest! We will try to get Kersh to pop on those days. - Our big event for getting 200+ votes will happen at 10:00 AM PST (GMT -8) this Sunday November 28th! - fixed the final part of Zakens AI where it teleports players which was causing problems. - TvT is now 10 minutes instead of 9 (fighting time). - Cleaned up DM npc layouts, added all the normal conditions for signing, like if your level is too low etc you cant join, and add .joindm, and .leavedm commands enjoy! - There will now be automated DM Events through out the day like TvT, and also automated events wont start if a GM is perfoming other events like Rabbit Chest event, Ghost invasion etc. - Zakens base atk speed was reduced by around 1/3, P def reduced slightly, the time it takes for mobs in the area to respawn have increased, and he will no longer teleport players at all (TESTED fought him for 20 mins with no probs). - Re added the Frintezza port to its own NPC so it wont be deleted when we update. - Updated olympiad geodata so that players using blink etc wont go out of bounds. - Mage auto buffs now gives you Magnus instead of CoV. - There has been a serious problem of players QUITING when they are losing in TvT, and some honestly dc, reguardless though if you dc or log out you will be put back in TvT when you log back in! (if the other side lost players, and you come back online you will be put on the opposite team to make them more even) - Now when TvT ends both teams points are announced , thx kiryu for the suggestion. - Other misc TvT changes. - Fixed more DM problems, now if your servitor gets a kill it gives the owner a point, and the person that is killed wont be "stuck", also for now on if you DC in DM and you log back in, you will be back inside the event! Also your CP/HP/MP is now restored when you die! - Fixed a problem with the skill Blade Rush, thx Gotrek for reporting. - Updated the "how to get elemental stones" area of the FAQ to be current. - Due to megaupload being very UNRELIABLE lately, our patch for our server is now uploaded at Rapidshare, and Mediafire, for a total of 3 different download links. - Attempted to fix a problem with Zaken, didnt have time to test it though, ill test tomarrow. - Increased the probability of custom mobs dropping MP herbs a little. - Worked on and fixed the DM issue, and improved the code overall, we will have another test DM event today :) - Been spending alot of time fixing a broken DM event engine, its ready for a test run, expect a DM event match with in the next 24 hours! - Fix a problem with the GM Shop, thx Skoal for reporting. - Rabbit Chest event had its prizes improved! - TvT had its worst randomized rewards improved! - fixed a few html bugs. - Deleted extra npcs, and re spawned npcs that disappeared after the last l2j sync, thx enoka and loreana for reporting. - The nymph mobs template was changed to look like something else, so that it could have a HP bar, and attack animations for less confusion. - Castle siege times were adjusted cause their times were starting to go WAYYY off, sorry for such short notice. All of them are set for sunday, majority of them are set during times when more players are on, and a few are set to much later times so some other players can get some too :)(dont forget registration for a castle closes 24 hours before the siege). - The quest guide of Possesor of a Precious Soul - 2 (Noble quest part 2) was added to our website, go check it out! - Updated the auto announcements with more information. - Updated our FAQ. - IP restrictions for Oly/TvT are now in effect, players having the same IP wont be able to play at the same time in these events to prevent cheaters (unless you prove to me more then one person plays from your location, your ip will be allowed to have +1 per person who plays from you location). - Sleep/silence effects are now based on MEN instead of WIT , they were based on MEN before this update, l2j was mistaken! Although root/paralyze/Petrify are still WIT based. - White Talismans had their elemental resistances increases slightly - Max Evasion increased from 210 to 250 (this is retail like) - Moirai stat corrections. - Stigma of shillen now has ~100% land rate (this is retail like) - The Fort instance zone now works, which rewards players with knight epaulettes! (note this only works if your fortress is independent, which means they are NOT contracted with a castle). - With the addition of the Knight epaulette currency new talismans are avialable at the GM shop in exchange for them.(I was gona add more fort talismans.... but unfortunately most of them dont work properly, I may try to make them work properly later). - A few battlground items were added the the Luxury area of the GM shop for Knight Epaulettes. - Installed a Death Match event engine, but there are some bugs to work out, hopefully I will be able to get it the way I want it in the near future. - Hero weapon's matk/patk are equal to top S84 weapons (this is retail like) - Body To Mind got another boost. For about +20% MP. - Added new tips to (.info). - Mechanical Golem stats were adjusted to be like retail (l2j confirmation based on retail) dont worry though my custom servitor boosts still apply. - Increased the amount of invisible chests that spawn during the rabbit chest event. - The skill "Spirit Sharing" was added to Warlocks, Elemental Summoners, and Phantom summoners (this is retail like) it was added to retail during the freya update, but NCSoft never put it in the patch notes... lol - Made some useful scripts that will increase the speed of updating to the newest version of l2j! - Optimized some code for our custom scripts. - Hundreds of other small changes/fixes/optimizations that will mostly be unseen - As always with updates may come bugs, so if you find a bug or exploit report it! - Adjusted the amount of taxes a fortress owner pays to a castle if chosen to be assosciated with them, I had it set to high, now its 1/4th. - adjusted the interval in which fort owners obtain a blood oath is 6 hours (retail like). - Added the ability to upgrade your hatchlings to striders at the GM shop under luxury. - Fixed soemthing with a rebirth skill, thx gotrek for reporting. - If we get 200 or more votes this month on hopzone. We will host a special event the following sunday where EVERYONE who shows up will get Boss jewl as a prize (if you already have the boss jewl we select as a prize you may choose an alternative prize if you want, which can be 40 Elemental stones of your choice OR 7 Blessed Enchant Scrolls of your choice, OR 7 Top 84 Lifstones, OR 5 Giants Codex - Mastery) SO VOTE!!! If we make our marker this month, I will raise the vote goal next month. - Fixed a little html bug at beverly, thx Noyd for reporting. - Nurse ants got a nerf. - Increased the respawn time for Zaken Minions so they dont spawn as fast. - upgraded the geodata for giran castle and oren castle, there are some spots where players would get "stuck" while running around the castle, if you know another castle that does this let me know! - Added a Quest guide for Posseser of a Precious Soul - 1 (Noble quest part 1) to our website, go check it out at www.L2Equanimity.com, click Library -> Quests - Increased the drop rates of Vitality Herbs slightly. - Added a port to Fantasy Isle to the Global GK under Arenas etc. - Added a quest guide for "Into the Flames" (Valakas Quest) to our website, just go to www.L2Equanimity.com the click Library -> then Quests, enjoy! - Finished up some custom touches to a few new mini events, you should see me doing them with in the next 24 hours! - Players that obviously 100% cheated in oly got their hero removed just like I did last month, please read the rules people, feeding is not allowed! - Valakas stats were nerfed to correspond to the newest l2j releases stats (their old one was wrong and too high) - Since the latest updates the arbalester class has become much stronger based on its own merits, such as traps being much more affective and how the "Real Target" debuff always lands that they dont need all these custom skills to compete with others anymore, so Hide and Touch of life custom skills were deleted from this class! | |
