| Happy new year everyone! Also grats to the new Heroes, as usual here is a list of updates we had this month HIGHLIGHTS, CTF EVENT, 3v3 OLY, PK PROTECTION - Vorpal PvP Armors are now tradable, thx Lebron for reporting. - Created a FaQ on our website. - Updated our server info on our website. - Converted the invasion event to a non christmas theme, and improved the drops some. - I modified the buff "blessing of protection" and added it to the NPC Buffer, if you have it someone that is 10 levels or higher then you cant attack you, and vice versa, this is our new PK protection, enjoy :). - Updated the clan area of the donation list, part of it didnt make sense, thx Stickle for reporting. - Added the Forgotten Scroll - Silent Mind to the GM Shop under each of the archer classes, guess we overlooked it before, thx Suzan for reporting. - Lowered Rush Impacts reuse time a little (Rushes dont have reuses on retail, but they do here due to being able to spam them at point blank range sometimes). - Baylors HP was reduced by about 25%. - There was a problem if you opened a prize box from an event while sitting down, it is now fixed. - Group Instance Mutilation now stores its re enter times the same way I recently changed the solo instance to, So it also supports the /instancezone command now. The raids in this instance now give 1k+ Apiga. - Doubled the skill "Mana Regeneration" mp recovery, since Mystic Muse/Spellsinger dont have Body to Mind. - Balls will be out of town for a few days, he will be leaving Sunday December 26th later in the day (after our big event :P), then will be back Tuesday December 28th, during these times there will be an automated server restart everyday at 8:00 PM PST (-8 GMT) till he gets back. - The solo instance event (infiltration) had the way the 10 hour reuse is stored re-coded cause some how players could cheat it, test this way out see if its cheatable, also, this way will also show up in the /instancezone command. - The screwed up aggro system is now fixed (Raids were agroing players after they attacked mobs near it, I reported it to l2j, and they fixed). - Modified the "Heal" button at the Buffer, it now also works in castles that arent under attack, so if the castle is in a siege or territory war the heal wont work, but if there is nothing going on, it will heal. - Now when you select a custom Scheme on the buffer you will also get your hp/mp/cp restored automaticaly, but only if your in a peace zone, or a castle that is not under attack and not red. - FaQ has been updated. - Various HTML updates/clean ups. - For now on if you lose or tie in TvT, CTF, or DM you will still get a prize, but its a much smaller prize of course, but its something! I hope this encourages the lame people who force log out of events to stay till the end. - Transformations are no longer allowed in CTF, they will be blocked, the only Transformations that are permited are Inquisitor and Vanguard. - Fixed Chocolate Cookies, thx Arthos for reporting (the update screwed them up). - For some reason l2j changed the way the mobs aggro works...., so it caused some issues in the farmzones, and raids aggroing too (if you attacked a mob near one) so I adjusted some things for it not to be so screwed up, but it wont be like it used to either ;/ - Made the Arena Etc ports not noble only, i didnt know they were noble only ;/ or they would have been changed sooner, also deleted Adena -> coli port cause its in Areans Etc anyway. - 3 vs 3 Olympiad should work, you need 6 players signed for it (a 3 man party's party leader must sign), and i cant really test that on my own... and .oly command was altered to show team oly info. - Handys Block Check Event now works! Just go to fantasy island to check it out (needs atleast 4 players to start the event). - The Kamael Skill Betrayal Mark now works! - Most 3rd proffession physical skills had their base crit rate increased to be more like retail (this means a higher crit rate for these skills, so more damage). - Alot of 3rd proffession skills were updated to have much more correct magic level values when enchanting them, which are higher then they were. (This makes them land more, and this is retail like update). - New tops added to the .info window. - Updated the FAQ. - Vesper PvP Armors prices were changed, and now require apiga. - Vorpal PvP Armors added to the GM Shop under Luxury -> PvP Armors. (Yes these armors have extreme typos in them, these are client side typos by NCSoft, not me, so please dont report them as bugs). - Various HTML fixes. - Rabbit Treasure Chest Event's prizes have been updated (less elxirs + other stuff). - Blessing of Eva now has the chance of cleansing its targets debuffs when used (this is how its meant to be). Also cut its reuse time by almost half. - A few CTF optimizations, the NPC you take the flag from now has a wider radious of clicking, so its easier to click and players wont click the flag base and say "CTF IS BUGGED", and once you take the flag, the item in your hand will now look like an actual flag. The CTF Manager in town will show the Events statistics while CTF is running (ie teams points). - If you walk into a peace zone with a castle's ward, it will return to its former location, so be warned. - Some new skill enchant routes, for Shock Stomp, Blazing skin, and I think a few others. - Many Transformations have their skills working now, enjoy. - Song of Purification now works properly and has the chance of cleansing debuffs when used, since it now works properly it was added to the GM Shop under forgotten scrolls (For Sword Muses). - A bug where when you remove a dye, it would remove all your dyes has been fixed. - Deinonychus pet now consumes wolf food like its supposed to. - Core side support for Prophecy of Water, Victory of Paagrio, Chant of Victory giving + magic crit damage. - Hero skills and Hide skills now have static reuse times, which is retail like. - Fixed a problem requarding augment buffs being removed when you changed weapons, the problem was if someone disarmed you, you would also lose your augment buff thx for reporting. - Fixed a problem reguarding clan penalties thx for reporting. - Fixed a problem reguarding the skill Sword Shield thx for reporting. - Tons of skill fixes/updates (so if your stats change, this is why, dont claim its a bug!). - New skill condition that applies to only a very few skills, the condition is simultaneous casting support, for example you can use warp/blink skills while using a different skill at the same time.(which is retail like). - Tons of code optimatizations (thx l2j ;p). - THOUSANDS of other changes that no one will notice. - Due to the updates, im sure there will be new bugs, reports bugs to a GM in a petition, or if one is not on-line leave a message on the forums in the bug report section. - Been working on updating the server to the newest versio of l2j since Monday (see last server news entry), its taking longer then expected due to internal re organization of code, expect the update running on our server by possibly Friday, features include 3v3 Oly and more! - Ghost invasion event has been converted to a Christmas theme instead - Thx Kersh. - MP pots had their weight reduced to 2/3 of what they used to, (please note it will still say 180 weight, even though its not, weight text = client side). - Normal updates will be temporarily on hold, im currently updating the server to the newest version of l2j, and it takes alot of time! Rough estimation of when the live server will see the update is about a week. - Mobs in CoT had their M def reduced a little more, this time by about ~5%. - Fixed a problem with people not being able to use unstuck after signing for CTF, before the event started (didnt get to test this). - Improved T rex drops a little, just so you know he will automaticaly drop a High 80 LS, or a Giants Codex, 1-2 Juices, and various other things, including a 20% chance of dropping a blessed enchant. - updated the Force port out zones in CTF, some players were able to get out of the force out zone when hugging walls etc, this should now be fixed. - Updated and optimized the CTF Engine, before there was a small chance of spawning a flag after the event was over, making it where when the next even started there was two Flag npcs, made some changes, hopefully its fixed now. - Players can no longer restart/logout during events, I see players doing this alot, but this wont help much. - Updated the shuffling of teams during TvT, it should now "try" to create teams that are more balanced, it wont be perfect but hopefully it will be atleast an improvement. - You now need atleast 4 players to Sign for tvt for the event to start. - Updated DM/CTF html windows to show the needed amount of players for the event to start. - We had a recent issue with name calling and insulting, bottom line is, respect other players and dont be going around calling them things, its a simple concept. If you choose to call people skanks, fags, niggers, whores, bitches or w/e you will be jailed. - The base M def of the mobs in CoT (Cave of Trials) has been reduced by about ~6%. - Increased the amount of curse words the chat filter blocks, but i know it dont help too much, people just type around it... - Updated new player bonuses to get a chocolate cookie at 61 and also give a random peice of majestic jewelry. - Its CTF testing time, you should see the event going on here and there to try to find bugs, features include .joinctf and .leavectf commands and IP restrictions to prevent cheating like other events. - (EDITED) CTF has been player tested, seems like everything is working ok, CTF is now added to the auto events through out the day, enjoy! - Due to the increased amount of crap, insulting, and un-important junk in shout the shout delay has increased! Guys dont be ignorant and be calling people Faggots etc either... - Fixed a problem with the GM Shop thx Kingston for reporting. - Fixed a problem with the skill Sword Shield, thx Psycko for reporting. - Optimized some custom code. - I been working hard on a CTF Event Engine, so far things seem to going well, hopefully I can have players help test it with in the next couple of days after I finish some things on it. - Epidos's Max hp was reduced by about ~7%. - The modified class info reguarding the Arbalester class reports that they get an addition p atk passive boost while using crossbows, but that effect only applied at 80+, that effect now applies at 40 instead. - Players may no longer use the Global GK while in a flying form (Aura Bird Falcon/Owl) cause they just get stuck in normal areas, flying is only prohibited in Gracia. - Now when you talk to the information pedestal it dont have a "@" symbol instead of a game tip, it will function just like the .info command. - Donations may now be made with Western Union! PayPal is still accepted too. - For now on the DM (Death Match) event will only start if there is 3 or more players registered. - Added a few things to let players know when they start the noble quest that there is a guide provided on our siten to help them. - Quest Guides for Possessor of a Precious Soul - 3 and 4 (Noble Quest Part 3 and 4) have been completed and was added to our website at www.L2Equanimity.com under Library -> Quests. - Now when Red players talk to the Global GK, she will let them port to one vacant place a ways away from the farmzones, that way red players can work off their karma. - Updated Geodata in Oly again, to help prevent warping out with kamaels. - Anyone that has done the noble quest knows there is an extra prize at the end. Now there is a prize at the end each part!(meaning part 1, 2, 3, and 4) - Updated the item section of .info to include information on Knight Epaulettes. - Updated the FaQ. - Added new player tips to .info! | |
